Graphic Design and Branding
Logos, business cards, brochures, letterhead, envelopes, ads, postcards, newsletters, flyers, posters, catalogs, banners, packaging, billboards, signs, and the list goes on!
YOU NAME IT, AND I’VE PROBABLY DESIGNED IT.
I can provide you with the expertise to plan, develop, and produce a piece that best represents your business.
A brand is far more than a just logo, color palette, product, or company. Your brand is comprised of all the parts of your business – who you are, what you do, who you serve, and how you serve your customers. An effective brand will instill in consumers a perception of quality and reliability.
Before a consumer ever touches your product or uses your service, your brand has conveyed a multitude of messages to them. To build an effective brand that people know, like, and trust, you must be authentic to yourself and your business, and get super clear on who you serve, why you do it, and why you’re better than anyone else at what you do.
Graphic Design is where I got my start, and logos, business cards, and brochures are still some of my favorite projects to work on.
Need a new logo or a refresh of your current logo? Perfect! We’ll start by reviewing your target market, business goals, and design preferences. Then I’ll get to work on crafting three beautiful concepts for your to choose from. Pick your favorite and I’ll perfect it with the finishing touches to create a professional logo for your business.
BUSINESS CARD DESIGN
You business card is often your first opportunity to make a good first impression. Your first chance to visually share your brand, along with your contact information so potential customers can easily get in touch with you. A professionally designed business card will ensure this first impression is a good one.
After a website, a brochure is one of the most important items of advertising a business needs. A carefully crafted brochure explains who you are, what your business is about, details your product or service, and extends an invitation to the consumer to email, phone, or visit your business for further information or to purchase your product or service.
PrePress & Print Mangement
I’ve worked in print design since 2000. My knowledge of industry requirements and long list of available vendors can save you a lot of time and money when it’s time to send your project to print. What exactly does prepress and print management entail?
Preparing files to meet specifications to go on press (be printed) by ensuring proper size, setup, colors, bleeds, trapping, etc.
Obtaining price quotes on printing; selecting the best vendor based on price and quality; coordinating with printers for pickup, delivery, or mailing; press checks. If requested, I am available within Minnesota for press checks (present at the print facility when your project goes to press to provide approval on color and registration before the job is run).
