How To Set Up Website Hosting in 3 Easy Steps
Your website hosting is where all of your website files and data are stored. And it's pretty easy to set up. I'll show you step-by-step below how to set up website hosting.
I’ve used and worked with many different hosting companies over the years, some are better than others. I recommend SiteGround or Flywheel. I highly recommend either company if you're planning to manage your website hosting yourself. They both have amazing performance and exceptional customer service.
Hosting with a heart
Just one more reason to add to the list of reasons I love SiteGround so much..... through May 12th, SiteGround is currently offering new customers the StartUp hosting plan for 99¢ for the first 3 months! Click here to get this special pricing!

HOW TO SET UP WEBSITE HOSTING IN 3 STEPS
STEP 1 – CHOOSE YOUR HOSTING PLAN
When you land on the SiteGround home page, you'll see 3 options to choose from – Reliable Web Hosting, Managed WordPress Hosting, and High Performance WooCommerce Hosting.
You'll want to select the Managed WordPress Hosting option.
SiteGround has three Managed WordPress hosting plans to choose from. All plans include free SSL (https). If you're scrambling to get online quickly and cost-efficiently, definitely take advantage of the StartUp plan that's only 99¢ for 3 months.
After you've decided on a hosting plan, click the orange “GET PLAN” button.
STEP 2 – CHOOSE DOMAIN
Select “Register a New Domain” if you don't already have one and type your desired domain name in the box and select to see if it’s available. If it’s not, you can see similar options or search for another until you find one that's available.
If you already have your domain name, select “I already have a Domain” and type your domain name in the box. Be sure to select the correct extension such as .com, .net, .org. etc.
Click the blue “PROCEED” button.
STEP 3 – REVIEW AND COMPLETE
First, enter your info in the “Account Information” section.
Next, enter your info in the “Client Information” section.
Finally, enter your info in the “Payment Information” section
Select the period that you’d like in the “Purchase Information” section, then click the blue “PAY NOW” button.
That's it, your hosting account is setup!
A note about email....
Even though it’s often available for free, I do NOT recommend using email through any hosting account (cPanel email). Stick with Google G Suite or Office365 for your domain based email. Personally, I use Google G Suite for email and I love it!
