The Lincoln Area Business Association needed more than just a website update – they needed a strategic, modern website that would better serve their members, increase visibility, and position the organization as a trusted resource within the community.
This project focused on creating a chamber of commerce-style website with integrated business directory functionality, designed to support both users and member businesses.
I led a full transformation across brand, website, and marketing to create a more cohesive, functional, and growth-focused foundation.
The result is a streamlined, user-friendly experience that:

The new website functions as a centralized business directory and community hub, making it easy for users to discover local businesses, explore events, and stay connected.
To support long-term success, I continue to provide ongoing website updates, maintenance, and strategic support, ensuring the platform evolves alongside the organization and its members.
Beyond the website, I developed and implemented a consistent social media strategy designed to increase visibility, engagement, and community connection. Through branded content and targeted growth campaigns, the association has expanded its reach and strengthened its presence both online and locally.
Working with April has been a game-changer for the Lincoln Area Business Association. In less than a year, she completely transformed our online presence and the way we connect with our community.
After April shared the latest performance data with us, the growth has been incredible to see. Website traffic is up 26%, with new visitors increasing by 109%. Even more impressive is how much more people are actually using the site – returning visitors have increased by 24%, pageviews are up 60%, and overall engagement has grown by 175%. It’s truly become a go-to resource for our community.
We’ve also seen growth beyond the website. Our Facebook following has grown from 146 to over 1,000, and our membership has increased from 56 to 84 active members in a relatively short amount of time.
